"In the Name Of Science". Fine art print of a series of graphic ink illustrations.
From the "Cat series"*.
It's late in the evening, (or early in the morning?), normal folks are sleeping, and only professor is awake for the sake of linguistics.
Comparative linguistics, Phonology, Syntax, Longman and Oxford dictionaries, Chomsky and Shakespeare on the bookshelves are the silent witnesses of the brainwork taking place in the room. Empty teacups and crumpled drafts on the floor, dying plants on the windowsill, a spider web on the curtains - a perfect work environment for professor L. and those little uninvited reviewers who gathered on the carpet.
Prints available in A4 and A5.
As a cat lover, I created a series of comic-book style drawings, where cats, just like us humans, have their daily routines and activities: they drink their morning coffee, listen to jazz music, they read books and magazines, ride bicycles, travel by train, enjoy fishing in the archipelago, and some of them are even engaged in scientific research! Just like us, humans, they are longing for harmony and happiness.
